Whether you have no Christmas decorations for the office or at home, or you just want some new additions, here are some great ways of making eco-friendly Christmas decorations, all made from leftover office supplies!

Paper Holly Garland

Add some greenery to your office with a DIY paper holly garland. This can be easily made with some leftover green and red paper/ post-it notes, a marker, scissors and some glue or Sellotape.

Or, if you don’t have coloured paper, you could use markers or pens to colour white paper.

Drape the garlands over desks or hang from the walls. You could make a holly wreath out of this to bring some colour to your office doors!

Thumbtack Ornaments

You can make a stunning Christmas tree ornament using, yes, that’s right, thumb tacks! Simply gather some blue tack and mould it into a ball. Then stick thumb tacks into the ball until it is fully covered.

You could also use paper to make a sphere and cover the outside in the thumbtacks too. Then, gather some string or fashion a paperclip into a hook which can be used to place the ornament on your office tree.

Polka Dot Sticker Garland

You know those polka dot stickers that turn up randomly throughout the office? We’re not sure who uses them and what for, but we do know how you can use them to make a cute office Christmas decoration!

You can easily make these garlands by placing two stickers together, on either side of some string. Simple and quick, they’ll make any office space bright and festive.

Paper Origami Christmas Trees

These are much easier to make than they look. Follow this tutorial here.

You can easily make this paper poinsettia using leftover red paper or post-it notes, a scissors and some glue/ Sellotape.

3D Paper Snowflakes

3D Paper Snowflakes are so easy to make and can add festive beauty to any office. All you need is white paper, string and scissors. Add some string and a scissors and you’ve got everything you need to make your own office Winter Wonderland!
